Do I need experience to start Brazilian Jiu Jitsu?
No experience is needed. Our classes are beginner-friendly, and we guide you step by step. Whether you’re completely new or returning after a break, you’ll be supported from day one.
What should I bring to my first class?
For your first class, just bring comfortable sportswear (t-shirt and shorts). If you don’t have a gi (kimono), you can start with no-gi training. We’ll guide you on what you need as you progress.
Do you offer classes for kids?
Yes, we offer structured kids martial arts programs focused on discipline, confidence, coordination, and respect — all in a fun and safe environment.
Where are you located?
We are located on Albisstrasse in Adliswil, just a few minutes from Zürich by S-Bahn, and easily accessible from Langnau am Albis, Kilchberg, and Thalwil.
What is the difference between Gi and No-Gi training?
Gi training uses the traditional kimono and focuses on grips and technique.
No-Gi is faster-paced and focuses more on body control and movement without the uniform. We offer both.
Is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu good for fitness and self-defense?
Yes. BJJ is one of the most effective martial arts for real-life self-defense, while also improving strength, endurance, flexibility, and mental resilience.
How often should I train?
We recommend starting with 2–3 times per week. As you progress, you can increase frequency depending on your goals.
Can I try a class before committing?
Yes, we offer a 7 days trial class so you can experience the training, environment, and coaching style before making a decision.
Is training safe?
Safety is a priority. We focus on controlled training, proper technique, and respect between students to minimize injury risk.
